Let’s get this out of the way first: I’m not just a tattoo artist; I’m a creator, a feeler, a healer, and most recently, a mother. In May 2024, my husband and I welcomed our first daughter, Charlotte Eleanor. She came crashing into this world with a fire that could set galaxies ablaze. She is my wild muse, my chaos, my clarity, and my reason. Becoming a mom redefined everything. It cracked me open in ways I didn’t expect, and that rawness, that rebirth, spills over into every line I pull and every connection I make in the studio.
But let’s rewind a bit.
My obsession with tattoos started when I was 13, sitting in a shop with my dad, watching needle meet skin like it was some kind of sacred ritual. That hum of the machine, the smell of ink, the quiet grit of it all, it lit a fire in me. From that point on, art became more than just expression, it became survival. Painting, drawing, making, it was the only way I knew how to process the weight of the world. Art saved me more times than I can count.
Fast forward, after years of creating and evolving, I was fortunate to catch the eyes of a few mentors who saw something in my work. After a three-year apprenticeship under an artist who honored the craft, I earned my wings and made the leap.
in 2022, I founded Botanical Tattoo LLC, and by 2024, I trademarked it under a name that felt more like home: Emerald Tattoo. A little soft, a little sharp, just like me.
Emerald Tattoo is more than a studio, it’s an experience. I pour intention into every step of the process, from the first DM to the last bandage. I believe your tattoo artist should feel like someone you trust with your stories, your trauma, your triumphs, not just your skin. I don’t take that lightly. Here, you're not just another appointment on the books, you’re part of a creative exchange rooted in respect, trust, and a whole lot of soul.
